Our Rustic Oasis in Key Largo
In a world where modernity often eclipses nostalgia and tradition, the bucolic charm of the Florida Keys perseveres. Mrs. Mac's Kitchen, an enduring local gem, embodies the rustic old Keys, a place where time slows down, and the essence of our coastal community shines through.
Established in 1976 by Jeff Macfarland and lovingly named after his mother, Mrs. Mac's quickly became a beloved local haunt.
In 1987 a cook named Angie and her sister Paula joined the team, transforming the restaurant into the Key Largo icon it is today.
In April 2023, a new chapter began as Stephanie Figueroa, a local for close to a decade, became the steward of Mrs. Mac's Kitchen. Rather than taking over, she sees herself as entrusted with preserving a legacy—a mission she wholeheartedly embraces.
With an extensive menu that caters to diverse palates, our restaurant's culinary prowess is exemplified by our renowned Key lime pie, a favorite among locals and visitors alike. We're proud that our pie has won the hearts of Key West to Key Largo travelers.
With two convenient locations along the highway, Mrs. Mac's is not just a pit stop for tourists; it's an integral part of our community, a place where the focus is firmly on our local patrons.
But what truly sets Mrs. Mac's apart is its exceptional staff. Their commitment, expertise, and customer-centric approach are the backbone of our restaurant. We cherish and support our employees, valuing their input and fostering an environment of mutual respect and trust.
As we navigate this new season with our caring owner, our motto remains unchanged: "Eat well, laugh often, live long." We invite you to join us at Mrs Macs, where the legacy lives on, and the spirit of the Keys endures.
