Our Rustic Oasis in Key Largo
Established in 1976 by Jeff Macfarland and lovingly named after his mother, Mrs. Mac's quickly became a beloved local haunt. In 1987 a cook named Angie and her sister Paula joined the team, transforming the restaurant into the Key Largo icon it is today.
In 2023, a new chapter began as Stephanie Figueroa, a local for close to a decade, became the steward of Mrs. Mac's Kitchen. Rather than taking over, she sees herself as entrusted with preserving a legacy—a mission she wholeheartedly embraces.
We have Grown to be Famous Worldwide
We have been a local’s favorite for years and we have grown to be famous world wide, bringing many people back year after year. Our goal is to continue to serve award winning food with fantastic service in a classic FL Keys atmosphere and keep you coming back for more.

Loved this place! We stopped on our way back to Miami from the Keys and it was such a treat. It was honestly our favorite meal in the keys. The fish was so fresh! Being from Colorado, I absolutely loved it. The alligator bites were also so great! The service was so great too, loved how friendly and attentive they were. Thanks to Nona and Deb for the fantastic service!! This was a great way for us to begin our honeymoon! Be sure to get their key lime pie cuz it is hands down the BEST in the keys!! We also shared conch fritters and coconut shrimp that was so fresh and delicious! Great way to start or cap off your keys vacation!

Love it! Food is wonderful, the service and staff are equally delightful! Cleanliness seems to be a priority. We had a late breakfast, churrasco steak and eggs with a Home Fry casserole, absolutely delicious period in the crab cake egg Benedict. If you find yourself passing through Key Largo don't miss this stop.

This is not a place to pass by ! Food was In amazing proportions and super delicious ! The waitresses are beyond friendly and the atmosphere is so cozy and cute ! The fries are so delightful and the key lime pie was the best I’ve had so far !

The food was amazing. We were lucky to go at a time when they were serving both breakfast and lunch. We also ordered the key lime pie which was sort of a frozen version and personally I don't like key lime pie that much but this one was amazing.
